Of course, customised packages can be created to suit each client’s needs. However, the “standard” rates under normal conditions will be those indicated above. At the Orellana and García Sola reservoirs, we also offer half-day trips during the summer months. If you wish to book a half-day trip in another area of Extremadura, there will be an additional charge for travel. 3. Description of activities. Birdwatching in Extremadura

Although we offer various services, we mainly focus on offering wildlife observation trips in a hybrid 4×4 vehicle. During these trips, we may also take short walks, depending on the customer’s preferences, the weather and the type of wildlife we are going to observe. At Top Birding Extremadura, we will always prioritise the welfare of the wildlife above all else, doing everything possible to ensure that our presence causes minimal or no disturbance to the animals. Of course, in addition to using binoculars and a telescope, we will have the opportunity to take high-quality photographs, but we will never get too close to the wildlife in order to do so.

We also offer an innovative and exclusive wildlife viewing service from a fishing boat, a service that is being hired by more and more customers.

From this boat, we can get close to wildlife without disturbing it, thanks to its silent electric motor. In Extremadura’s main reservoirs, wildlife is very accustomed to this type of boat, and we can get much closer than we could on foot or from a land vehicle.

Of course, at Top Birding Extremadura we will always respect areas restricted to navigation during the breeding season, and we will never get too close, regardless of the time of year. The use of this type of vehicle will allow us to access many areas that we would not be able to access with a land vehicle, as they are part of private estates. This service will only be available for a full day except in the cases mentioned above.

Another services. Birdwatching in Extremadura

Given our academic background (Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Sciences + Master’s Degree in Teacher Training from the University of Salamanca and Master’s Degree in Protected Natural Areas from the Autonomous University of Madrid), we also offer environmental education activities. We can organise group excursions for school pupils, members of associations or any other group of people. The price will vary depending on the duration of the activity and the number of people. Conditions

In order to reserve a date, it is essential to pay 25% of the total amount. If, due to circumstances beyond their control, the customer is unable to attend on the dates indicated, they will not lose this money and may use it for another new booking at a later date, provided this is agreed by both parties.

Wildlife observation trips in 4×4 vehicles can be half-day (4 hours), starting from the meeting point with the customer, or full-day (9 hours), with a 1-hour break for lunch. Throughout the trip, the customer will have access to water, soft drinks and fruit, but the main meal is at the customer’s expense. If the customer would also like to book the main meal, they may do so, provided that we are notified sufficiently in advance so that we can offer an excellent variety of typical food from Extremadura. What’s more, if you come in spring or summer, you can enjoy meals prepared with vegetables from our own garden!

Wildlife observation trips by boat will last at least a full day and include drinks, refreshments and a picnic lunch. During the summer months, we will offer half-day trips (5 hours) on an exceptional basis, during which a picnic lunch can be booked as an additional option.

We also have binoculars, a telescope and bird guides available. If you do not have a camera, we can take photos ourselves and send them to you at no extra cost. If you wish to book trips for several consecutive days, we also offer the option of arranging accommodation and/or restaurant reservations.
